Accessibility

Last updated: July 31, 2026

Pattern Crochet publishes crochet articles for a broad audience and wants the website to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as an ongoing reference for accessibility work. This is a target for continued improvement, not a claim that every page or feature fully conforms.

Our accessibility priorities

Our accessibility work focuses on:

  • clear headings, landmarks, labels, and link text;
  • keyboard access and visible focus;
  • readable text, sufficient contrast, and layouts that reflow on smaller screens;
  • text alternatives for meaningful images;
  • forms and privacy choices that can be understood and operated without relying only on color or pointer input; and
  • content that remains useful when optional advertising, analytics, or third-party services are unavailable.

Known limitations

Some older articles, third-party destinations, embedded services, or complex crochet diagrams may not yet provide an equally accessible experience. Third-party websites linked from Pattern Crochet control their own accessibility. We review reported barriers and prioritize practical corrections, but we cannot promise that every issue will be resolved immediately.

Report an accessibility barrier

If you have difficulty using Pattern Crochet or need content in another reasonable format, email hello@patterncrochet.net. Please include the page URL, what you were trying to do, the barrier you encountered, and, if you are comfortable sharing it, your browser, device, and assistive technology. Do not include sensitive information that is not needed to explain the problem.

We will review the report and respond when reasonably possible. For general information about how visitor information is handled, read the Privacy Policy. Use of the website is also governed by the Terms & Conditions.
